I've not found anything other than the stuff we've got already.

I thought the sans ring was you don't lose health on the outside.

Mortal Kombat 1, 2 & 3 - Health Cheats with new engine

None of 'em work. Tried every version, even Ultimate MK3.

I'd tinker around myself, but the engine seems to have a distinct lack of an EDIT CHEAT function in MAMEPLUS.

Here's Hoping.........

So let me see if I'm understanding this.

<action>main.pb@0151=09</action>

<Action> </Action> is self explanatory, Main.pb I'm assuming means the main "board" of the game, @0151 is the memory address and =09 is the poke value?

AFAIK from the limited mahjong I understand, is that the 4 "wind" tiles you get along with the 2 red dragons is lucky in Japanese culture and thats why it's worth more. It's like in some "blackjack" machines or "hi-lo" machines, Spades are better than clubs are better t...

Well, pedantic or not....I just copied the name on the artwork, which in many instances will be seen when the cheat menus are open. If Sega also called the character Ax Battler then they couldn't have made their minds up! Well this is from the attract mode, and thats how it's spelled there, so I'd ...

Gah crap.

I'll prolly get used to it, but it's the learning to use the p##s thing that'll give me headaches.

Thanks I have a question though. Some games are obviously clones of others but why are there different poke values? And does it matter? It's to prevent piracy AFAIK, they set a different checksum by bunging a few dummy bytes at the beginning ot the ROM, hopefully so the pirates who have cracked thi...

The Warror's name is "Ax Battler"

No "e"

Quite why I'm not sure, but whatever.

Nope, there are only different weapons in the PC version.

Even the different character cheats are just polygon model swaps.

Really?

I started on the old PSX Action Replay cart, so getting used to the MAME way was a little difficult.

Anyway, I'll give this a look, shouldn't be all that hard.

Right, I'm back and after working periodically, I still cannot get a consistent value for any of the cheats, which leads me to the conclusion that ROM cheats are the way to go with this. Considering I have more experience with juggling burning hedgehogs than ROM cheats, I humbly pass the buck to som...

Hasn't the machine gotta be on for a certain ammount of time to unlock them?

Try hacking a code for the internal clock. then bung the days count into 6 digits and everything should unlock.

they are.

I can get the dog to fall, and search the values, but it gets to like, 30 odd, and won't go lower, the sheer ammount of combinations of these codes is ridiculous and to top it off, if I reset the search and do it again, I END UP WITH A DIFFERENT NUMBER!

Grrrrrrrrr.

hello, is there any way to convert the KI and K2 codes above for finishers and combos and all the great stuff listed above to work with the new current mame cheat format please? Considering the new format doesn't WORK, I'd say thats not even remotely on the cards yet. try using MAMEUIFX (http://mam...
