It's easier if you realize that half of these games have the GAME_NOT_WORKING status (being that they were once TestDrivers and nothing has changed). But still, I guess this marks the end of the cheat file with 99% coverage...

There are cheats for all four, it's just that, for the purposes of the cheat file, we will only have the first - it's unlikely the last three will be in MAME.

If you would have searched through the forums, MOST of these cheats (maybe even all) would have been found already.

I recommend searching through the latest cheat file and this forum (and maybe the archive forum) for cheats before submitting your own - duplicate posts of the same thing wastes time.

Read the moderation policy - only games in the current version of MAME are allowed.

Since cthd2003 is a 2003 game, you'd have to wait until the magical time... but by then you would have figured it out already.

Try the value part. In either case, the cheat should work in theory. In some games, a few hacks are needed in order to get the desired effect (like enabling SDMs in fatfury3 - a ROM hack is needed since the game writes values in some places faster than the cheat engine can overwrite them)

Note that it has its share of side effects (part in converting a one-byte cheat to a two-byte cheat and how the bosses are presented - eg. having both bytes set at zero may crash the game going against Rolento, or it could extend the fight indefinitely like going aga...

I came up with zeroes a few months ago, and I think such cheats may require unconventional tactics (ie. I'd need to use the debugger).

It's called "two hit kill boss" for a reason - the life bar is on TWO bytes!

There's a typo with this ever since the cheats were posted (check the MAME cheat archive - the correction is there). They should be fixed the next go-around.

The fix is easily determined through mathematical means, of course, if you want to go at it.
