Cheat engine seems to be having major problems in this game, in the latest u releases poking doesn't seem to work. That coupled with the fact that the alphabetic characters are not registering in the cheat engine at all which is really quite bizarre and makes cheat finding a right chore. ; [ Bronx ]...

Game is basically unplayable, so a quick time cheat is really all thats worthwhile and testable.

Unfortunately there will always be multple copies of the same image and MESS has no way of detecting hacked, bad dumps or different headers on some ROMs. MESS can recognise hacked/bad dumps/diff headers though..it just needs Cowering to get his crc checking routines & databases adding/readding ...

Still working my way through your last cheat2.dat, sizewise I've now done about 60% of it, so still ontrack. I'm deleting everything from the cheat2.dat that have been added or have already included and I'm trying to put comments against cheats I haven't added for whatever reason.

Open the cheat file in a text editor and search for "Dynamic Cheat Finding method by Pugsy". This guide is rather old as it was written for the old debugger, but it will point you in the right direction
