That's unusual - some problems occur when the drivers get updated. I take it you are not enabling these cheats till you've started the game - you are not for instance enabling the cheats on the game's boot-up sequence? If you are then you will find this will cause problems with a lot of games as it ...

A program to integrate the cheats would be rather pointless I'm afraid. You'd have too many duplicated cheats. You can't for instance just ignore cheats that use the same address as another cheat - you can have several cheats that use the same address but have different effects...the cheat type and/...

I have a program to convert from old type to new type, but AFAIK it was never released publically. To convert old type to new type is fairly straight forward anyway (just look at the structure in the cheat.c file or the cheat.dat file). The question is why bother the old cheat format still works in ...

At the moment there aren't any that have been publically released AFAIK, so there's a massive scope for anybody wanting to make some. Of the two systems I'm interested in doing most - one has quite a few issues (C64) and the other doesn't even have a driver (Atari ST). I thought about doing some of ...

Re: ugetab = The MAN!
but, can you force the codes to be enabled in pairs? since it only works of both bits are set (it's much like MK3-kombat kodes) {EDIT: Deleted this bit you edited your reply as I was posting this} For the record though it's standard not to use set/clear bits unless it's a relative address cheat whi...

The cheat lines are counted in hexadecimal not in decimal and the first cheat line is 0, the 9th is 08, 11th is 0A etc. You should ignore all other cheats in a linked list or linked cheat other than the first cheat. All other cheats including comment cheats should be counted though like so:- COUNT 0...

I didn't need to look for the cheat with the cheat engine, it's simply a permeneant version of a temporary cheat that already exists. Not seen the guide you mention before, but the method mentioned there is one of the simplest cheat searching methods. It's results are limited, credits and lives can ...

It's not really missing, the decision was obviously made that an Always cheat was not really warranted - spoils the game too much. It's easy to change/add it yourself either in the cheat engine or by changing the cheat type from 000 to 001. So, bublbobl:0:F60F:01:001:Fire lightnings Now! PL1 becomes...

Re: how do i enter
Open the cheat.dat file in a text editor and cut and paste those cheats onto the end of the cheatfile and then resave. Entering them manually would be a lot more work!trunks wrote: now how do i enter it in or this is wrong?

Ok, I've looked again. There are two bars on the bottom of the screen....one goes up every time a spider 'escapes' when the two bars collide boom you are dead! So yes something has been missed you just have to stop the counters for the two bars. As it stands the cheat is really just 'No Sprite Colli...
