a cheat is missing from this game

there is a cheat called

"fire lightings now PL1" , but the missing cheat is "fire lightings always PL1"

the missing cheat exist in bubble bobble 2+3

clould someone post it in mame cheats please?

It's not really missing, the decision was obviously made that an Always cheat was not really warranted - spoils the game too much. It's easy to change/add it yourself either in the cheat engine or by changing the cheat type from 000 to 001. So,


bublbobl:0:F60F:01:001:Fire lightnings Now! PL1

becomes

bublbobl:0:F60F:01:000:Always fire Lightnings PL1

are you using a new programme version of mame cheats which is not incuded in this web page?

i am asking you this because from noon i tried with the instractions to find the wanted cheat, but i couldnt find it

i want too to participate here for finding cheats

I didn't need to look for the cheat with the cheat engine, it's simply a permeneant version of a temporary cheat that already exists.

Not seen the guide you mention before, but the method mentioned there is one of the simplest cheat searching methods. It's results are limited, credits and lives can be found using it..but anything else like the cheat above would best be found with a "Status" or "Slow but Sure" search and a lot of patience.

Personally I always use a timer search to find lives and never use the "Lives (or another value)" search for anything.
