Well I'll start the ball rolling (well actually stop the ball really :wink: ). Here's the Force Range Arkanoid cheats - should work for all the identical clones too. So much more is now possible - you are only limited by your imagination (well almost.....) :wink:

:arkanoid:00000010:0000C4A5:E2:000000E4:Always Keep One Ball in Play



Don't forget this cheat will only work if you recompile MAME with the new cheat engine source from Ian Patterson - see that Thread for the links.

Well this is a non-working cheat unfortunately - it's a dynamic memory cheat for a neo geo fighter. Ian perhaps you could point out my mistake please.....doesn't appear to use the offset A5 in the setup.

I think you mean this:

:samsho:83000000:00100A0A:00000080:000000A5:Infinite Energy PL1
:samsho:83000001:00100A0A:00000000:000000A5:Drain All Energy Now! PL1

(changed action type from set bits to write)

Also, I forgot to make the normal writemask cheat type ignore the mask field for addressing modes that also use the extend data field.
