btw, obviously if you're cheating and go faster than the game originally was meant to let you things might start to look glitchy, it wouldn't be considered a bug of the emulation because i think the machine would do the same if you could cheat

In hwrace,when you use the super speed cheat ,at the end you must use "Stop move" cheat to stop to win(oh no,another type mistake found ...)

Anyway,this title is wrong,
correct is "f1gpstar,hangon,hangonjr,hwrace Super speed Cheat"

Thanks Sum for all those cheats, if there's mistakes which you find after 10 mins can you just post a follow up rather than editing though as any corrections I may miss. Anyway going through the cheats one by one and f1gpstar:0:0FA2AB:FF:000:Super speed is not actually correct - it isn't even Max Speed as cars pass you...it's a two byte location so I've added the other byte (any higher value than 01C1 will crash the game. BTW, I use 'Maximum Speed' as it conforms more with what I expect to see in the descriptions..

f1gpstar:0:0FA2AB:C1:000:Always drive at Maximum Speed:Turn it OFF if you are stuck in a crash position

No problem Sum. Similar thing again with hangon:0:C7E079:FA:000:Super Speed it's a two byte location. The high byte location is normally -1 or +1 away from the location you've already found (use a 3 byte watch with the location you found as the second byte) - if byte 1 or 3 is anything but 00 at the lowest speed then it's not the right high byte address. Poke the suspect address with 01 and you should see a jump in the speed value. When word searching (word=2 bytes) is possible (new cheat engine) it will be much easier to find these energy based cheats. Anyway I digress, here's the modded cheats for hangon - well actually shangonb as it's a working clone (shangon & hangon use the same cheats too)

shangonb:0:20C052:09:000:Infinite Credits
shangonb:0:20C500:99:000:Infinite Time
shangonb:0:C7E079:F3:000:Always ride at Maximum Speed:Maximum Attainable Speed
shangonb:0:C7E078:00:500:Always ride at Maximum Speed (2/2)
shangonb:0:C7E079:5D:000:Always ride at Crazy Speed (1000 KPH):Faster (9999) is possible but makes game unplayable

I don't know how to use a 3 byte watch.
Anyway,if I find "FF" is not > 999 car speed.
I will try to add high byte even the game would crash

Do a 3 byte watch thus:-
Highlight the cheat you have already (in the Enable/Disable Cheat menu)
Then press W to add it as a watch
Enter the Configure Watchpoints menu
Select the Watchpoint on the memory location you are interested in (by highlighting it and pressing Enter)
Highlight address and reduce it by 1
Highlight 'Number of bytes' and increase it to 3.
You will then see the 3 locations you are interested in ...see previous message for what to do.
