I always had the idea for this, but I never executed it -- until now. Mario stores the level layout in RAM in a very easy to read format. With this, you can stand on all bottomless pits because the game thinks you're standing on plain floor. Sadly, I can't think of anything else that I need to do in this game, so I wasted a thread and my time in general for one cheat that I should have done a long time ago.

You can still be killed should you decide to ride a lift into the floor.
