Hey Ian... (Off topic)

If you are having problems finding or using cheats for an Emulator (particularly MAME/MESS) or have found a trick that you wish to share this is the place to do it. But please read the Cheat FAQ first.

I was wondering, when will the MAME Dev team use your Cheat engine in their official distributions? I'm curious because to my knowledge, rom cheats are not supported in MAME yet, unless you compile your own version of the executable...

Thanks. Oh and sorry for not posting new cheats in this thread.

What do you mean? The updated 'Old Type' Cheat Engine is already in MAME and supports ROM cheats - has done for months! It won't be till the 'New Type' cheat engine is complete (and then submitted) that the 'dynamic' cheat type will be available to all....if that's what you mean?

Pugsy is correct; I just haven't submitted the new engine yet. Once I implement watches and add stuff like add/delete/watch/save keys (+ some other stuff) it will be up to the standard of the older engine, and I'll submit it.
