How to set memory area?

Post by invincibility »

Hi Pugsy.

I have a question, how to set memory area with the cheatinit command.

I'm finding IGS PGM system games cheats. I need search memory area from 0xd00000 to 0xd0ffff of main cpu 68000, how to write the cheatinit command? It always get error when I try to set a memory range.

When use the old mame version you can easily select that memory range in the option of the cheat engine. But with the new cheat engine I am confused.

Not on the PC at the moment, but this should work as long as memory ranges have been correctly set up in the MAME source for that game.
