It is nice to see you making cheats, but next time can you post them in your own thread? This is not a community MK II cheat posting thread, and was meant for my cheats only. Please refrain from posting anymore cheats in my thread. Thank you.

CLE, I have successfully restored the laugh animation for Shang Tsung's win pose (oddly enough it is accompanied by Shao Kahn's laugh audio). Check out the "Restore Shang Tsung's Laugh Win Pose" cheat in the first post.

Hello I am new to this. Can someone please tell me how to add these cheats to the current cheat.zip file? I know I should create a text file and rename it with the .xml extension, but what am I supposed to do with the xml file once I create it? What directory is it supposed to be in?
I will commit seppuku if Team Marubaku does not upload replay video footage of OutRun 2SP by the end of July!

Follow the instructions on the main page and setup the cheat.zip. After that is done, add my codes to mk2.xml (within the zip), then save the file and start mame. You should then have the cheats you added to the file in addition to what was already there previously.

Your response is much appreciated Abystus. I got it working now, you're the man! Great cheats too buddy. They're awesome. :) :D

One thing I notice in the cheat menu....right above the list of cheats that start with "Select Starting Zone, Select Kombat Zone, etc" it says "These cheats are for a 1 Player game only!". Can you verify whether or not your cheats are restricted to a single player game only, or can they be used in a 2p versus game? Can you list all the ones that cannot used in 2p player mode? My friend and I are planning on having a ton of fun using these cheats via MAMEHUB :lol:

Well done Abystus for unused Shang,s laugh cheat.Good work.Abystus,I have one question for you.Mr.big in Art of fighting(1)not have jump all other characters have jump.Mr.big,s jump is unused. Is it possible make jump with cheats?

CLE, I've added "Skip Mountain CPU Versus Ladder Screen", "Skip Two Player Versus Screen" and "Intro Story Music/Sound Modifier (Attract Mode)" cheats to the first post. Can you test them out please?

Most if not all of my cheats work for both modes unless noted that they work for a specific mode only.

Cheats are working very well and "Intro Story Music" cheat too.

Basing in this cheat sounds, is possible insert Shang Tsung's laugh before Reptile Clues in MK1 how in Snes version?

Thanks Abystus for answer.I only question with you and I don,t want to disturb you.Also some other bosses of games not have jumps.World Heroes Boss Geegus not have jump also never dizzy.Mk1 boss shang not have jump also never have jump.All Mk bosses never dizzy.Street fighter the world warrior sub boss vega(claw man)not have stand block.Art of fighting 2 with select charcter cheat value 0F Fat man (second bonus stage villian) not have sit block.When use sit block,this charcter stand position block.

Excellent cheat, but is it possible to apply this cheat to kitana when you play with her? In a few words to use this invulnerability when you play vs the cpu?

It most likely is, but it sounds as if your trying to make some sort of "fake" Jade out of Kitana (I know there is a palette swap code already for her to use Jade's palette.) I would be more interested in making Jade a playable character versus constructing a "fake" Jade out of Kitana. I've made Jade a playable character before (along with the other hidden characters) on the SNES (not character moveset swaps, the real thing), but haven't yet attempted it on the Arcade yet (it is coded differently in that aspect). I will be trying to make them all playable (Jade, Smoke, Noob) in the near future when I get more time to look at how the game's code is interacting with their movesets (from what I've seen it is completely different than the SNES). If your interested in the SNES codes I made to play as the "real" hidden characters, you can get them here.

Abystus your hacking ability is impeccable and exceptional to say the least! Magnificent job my friend!

I was wondering if I could ask a two part question:

1)I have a very old cheat dat file from a few years containing a couple unique cheats fro MKII. One is a cheat that significantly shortens the time between when you can execute Lui Kang's bicycle kick, and the second one is the same but for Jax' ground pound: They are as follows.....
:mk2:39800000:00D348:000000F8:000000FF:Low Time for Jax's Ground Smash:Allows you to perform the move as soon as the Low-Kick attack is done. ROM Hack

:mk2:39800000:00C992:000000F8:000000FF:Low Time for Liu Kang's Bicycle Kick:Allows you to perform the move as soon as the Low-Kick attack is done. ROM Hack
Can you please convert these two cheats to the new cheat format?


2)Second question is, do you suppose it is possible to import the characters from the PS1 version of Mortal Kombat Trilogy(Rain, N00b, etc) to the arcade version of UMK3, using pugsy's cheat engine? What would getting those characters into UMK3 entail?
