Debug for dummys, please?

Post by Alphonza »

I tried pressing F5 on my mame while running the game but nothing seems to happen, can someone assist me in details with all the bits and bolts with links for DL or w/e to debugging. I am running Mame 0.128

F5?

For the debugger you need to start MAME with the -debug option or the 'debugger enabled' box ticked, if it's is enabled you will automatically enter the debugger as the game loads.

Then the normal key to enter the debugger is the one above the TAB key.
