Help me with game that require .chd

Anyone know how to run games that require .chd file?
For example - Killer Instinct and Killer Instinct 2.
I got the chd file downloaded it but still can't run. Where should I place the file?

Place your file in the same place as your rom.

In the case of Killer Instinct, make a kinst folder in your roms folder, and put the .chd file in the kinst folder. That's how I've got mine set up and it runs fine. Well, as fine as it can on my computer.
