How 'bout a Ring CHEAT for Rastan?

I just thought that since there wasn't a cheat to switch on or always have the RING for Rastan - why doesn't someone look for it? The ring lets you fire faster btw.

P.S. I'll try to look too, but thought I'd mention it if someone wants to try and get it before me.

EDIT: Okay, these addresses seem to deal with the ring.

the first four addresses' bytes are 00 to begin with, the last two addresses' bytes are 18 and FF respectfully.
I'd narrow it down more but I'm getting tired. Maybe tomorrow.

I did run into a BUG with these cheats. It was in at 1/2 way point in the first castle. I don't remember what I did exactly but it made Rastan cycle through some funky animations and/or sprites. I think it may need some 'debugging' or furhter refinement. If someone else could test it that knows more about this stuff... Go for it.

EDIT: I tried it again and nothing wierd happened. So I guess I'll put this one up.

I had the Always have the Ring cheat turned on, I finished the game, watched the end credits, all the way up to where the game should start over to the beginning (at the title screen), then it said; READY! (like it does after you die). After that, it crashed back to the DOS screen.

So is there a problem with my cheat? Or does it need to be noted to be turned off after finishing the game?
