okay I ran into another problem with cheats. I downloaded the latest cheat.zip from Pugsy. Then I put the zip file where my Mame executable is. Then I opened my mame.ini file, specified the directory, and changed cheat on misc option from "0" to "1" but the cheat option still does not show. When I try to specify the cheat directory within GMAMEUI the browse buttons are unresponsive and it wont let me type the path manually. Help would be greatly appreciated. I've been at this for a while.
I'm running Kubuntu Natty with frontend GMAEUI please help
