gng / makaimura - Completed Loop Counter
I've heard that if you keep looping in Ghosts 'n Goblins / Makaimura, the play gets harder.
Does anyone have a cheat to set the Number of Loops completed value so that I can test the raised difficulity in later loops of the game?

MAME 0.112 & 0.113 - Cannot Search for Cheats
I cannot search for cheats in MAME 0.112 & 0.113, as the menu option is missing from the cheat menu.
Has this functionality changed, or is it just broken?

Randomise Gameplay
I think it's a good idea, as long as it will be relatively easy to add cheats to a lot of games for 'Randomise Gameplay', assuming that the factor which determines play (time, score, etc...) can be determined. Sometimes, NVRAM plays a part in gameplay - I don't know if it's possible to randomise NVR...

Of course, if your cheat.dat file is too large, you probably have too many games in it. Most people do not use every game in MAME, therefore by stripping out all the games you don't own/play, the cheat.dat file could be a lot more manageable. Some level cheats for popnpop. These cheats only work after completion of a level, or on a coin-continue.
