Note: This cheat is imperfect, I'd probably skip adding it for now. While some characters like Kazuya can clear the second kick, larger characters like Jack-2 are still being hit even in their crouching animation. OK, now that you're over here, which MAME version, cheat file version etc. are you using? MAME has had at least four types of cheat files in 20+ years and they are not interchangeable e.g. XML cheats won't work on the common (and unofficial) RetroArch 2003 build, and cheat.dat won't work in anything...

It should be exactly the same method as MAME but with an additional parameter for the game cartridge. I don't know what MAMEUI or MESSUI does in the background but with the normal command line MAME/MESS (and MAMEUI/MESSUI) they all work the same way from the command line. I haven't heard about SF2 The World Warrior bosses being selectable, but someone did do a similar hack with arcade UMK3, allowing Motaro and Shao Kahn to be playable without glitching or crashing.

Not sure if this will be added without major changes, such as reconfiguring it to use 32-bit writes and converting it to the XML format which has only been in use for the past twelve years.

MAME has a built-in autofire menu which becomes available when cheats are enabled, just press Tab and go into the cheat menu and the autofire settings will be at the top. Unfortunately that wasn't an option 16 years ago when this topic was abandoned.

Some ROM cheats. As per the above cheats, this is only for the (E) version, so Rockman Mega World (J) will have to wait as I don't actually have a copy of that. Note that Wily Wars has a ROM checksum on boot, so make sure the cheats are disabled if you need to hit F3 otherwise you will get a Mega Dr...
