I doubt why several code creaters post a code with wrong format.
A value on extend datafiled is always 0xFFFFFFFF if not use mask.
Pugsy should hammer away, "check the "general" cheat format before post THIS forum (it means NOT WIP forum)".

Also I think that the cheat engine needs to check cheat format and if wrong, it should ignore load or action.

I've moved the cheat to the WIP Cheats forum - can you describe what the cheat does please.

There needs to be some sort of checking for this in the cheat engine....if it's an 8bit value and the mask is going to save it as FF (000000FF) then it should catch it and change it to FFFFFFFF before saving it.
