Mortal Kombat 1, 2 & 3 - Health Cheats with new engine

None of 'em work. Tried every version, even Ultimate MK3.

I'd tinker around myself, but the engine seems to have a distinct lack of an EDIT CHEAT function in MAMEPLUS.

ALL games using a TMS34010 CPU have wrong cheats because of a hack we used in the old cheat engine ...

There is no list yet, but here's a way to fix the cheats : you "only" need to multiply the addresses by 8 (2 ^ 3 or 1 << 3) ...

There are other changes apart from the cheat system, the memory system with the tags has been changed and games like umk3 will have issues. The converter will pick them up as long as I know about them...I could only find exterm when I made the beta release and that was converted automatically - you will notice the address is x8 what it in cheat.dat. I've added the needed x8 fix of the address on mk3 cpu0 cheats to the converter and here's the results.

I did actually check umk3 quickly - unfortunately I only checked the Time cheat which is a ROM cheat and requires no conversion.

The converter will handle all these changes as long as I know the shortnames of all the games it affects.

Just noticed a slight bug with the converted cheats...seems to have skipped some for a unknown reason - I will fix and reupload with revx

Fixed the bug, it didn't occur in exterm because I didn't do any cpu checks (was only a single cheat).

Thanks, is it safe to assume they are all cpu0?

I think I will have to make that assumption....it will fix a lot more than it could break. As every one I've checked so far seems to be used as cpu0(main)

I can't tell yet (I only remembered about some of them - mainly the ones in mid?unit.c drivers) ... I'll check that tomorrow ...

Updated the full collection for those games in the mean time...making that assumption that all are cpu0. It will likely fix over a 100 games and break many less - hoping that people will report any issues.

EDIT, the assumption was incorrect...I've now checked them all and only changed the ones which are actually cpu0.
