Thus, I checked the situation out. Here is what I found:
Two codes are actually needed to change the ISM. One will change the character's colors between their X, A, and V-ISM colors (S-ISM colors use A-ISM colors). The other changes what is on your super bar (whether there's an X, A, V, or Shadaloo logo near the edge of the super bar). Both need to be on to actually change the ISM. That is, even if you use V-ISM colors and you select A-ISM, you function as if you are in A-ISM. Likewise, if you selected only the V-logo and A-ISM, you'd have an A-ISM super bar that says V-ISM but behaves like A-ISM. Only if you have both V-ISM colors AND the V-logo will you be actually be in V-ISM and behave as in V-ISM, even if you selected X or A-ISM normally.
Sad thing is that this isn't listable (not until either multiple-part list items or multipart lists make it into the cheat engine). Here's the next best thing:

These cheats work for sfa3 and its clones (on some clones Z-ISM is used in place of A-ISM, but we could care less).
Activating during gameplay will produce the desired results, but may have minor graphic glitches that should erase itself the next round.
Yes, with these cheats you can use A/V-ISM colors with Classical Mode. I'm not sure if giving an infinite super bar with these cheats in Classical Mode will also let you use A-ISM supers or V-ISM OCs.
For those of you who don't know, P3 is your computer player in Dramatic Battle Mode while P3/P4 is CPU Juni/Juli in the Reverse Dramatic Battle.
