Dragon ball z not running in mame 0.7?

I hafve porblems to run this game dbz in mame 0.70 the game loads but after choosing the characters it crashes..i do not know what to do..and do not know if will be memory problems or what...i have tried with several emulators but it does not work...can someone help?...

That's why you always get the most recent version of MAME... this bug should be put into the MAME FAQ (at least for now - until the n00bs stop asking such questions) as it is quite a FAQ.

*THE LATEST VERSION OF MAME IS 0.70u5.*

*THIS BUG WAS FIXED IN 0.70u1.*

Thus, if you really want to play DBZ, you have two choices.

One. Learn to compile MAME (really useful skill). Then learn to use that patching program, and patch 0.70u1 over your 0.70. The patches can be found at HAZE's MAME WIP website, which is here... http://haze.mame.net/

Two. Download MAME/MAME32 Plus!, which requires no such action as suggested in point one. Quite a n00b friendly solution, IMO. MAME/MAME32 Plus! can be found at http://emu.xaonline.com/host/mameplus/.
