Anyone order Final Fight One Hit Kill cheats?

I sense a pattern in the goon energy. They seem to be 0xC0 apart. I've tested these on the parent version, and it probably works for the clones as well. I'm not sure how many enemies can be on screen at a time (seems to be 13 plus the boss at the maximum), but if there are more goons, then they probably be again, 0xC0 from the addresses shown here, but I'm sure I got everyone.

Also note that the Andorre brothers in stage 3 are goons and not bosses.

I forgot to mention that a side-effect is that the flare-dropping Holly Woods can only drop their flares on the edge of the screen with these cheats on.

These are all type 000/500 cheats, so yes. Just do this:

It's called "two hit kill boss" for a reason - the life bar is on TWO bytes!

I just tried the "One Hit Kill Boss" cheat you posted and it still takes 2 hits to kill a boss with that cheat. Why is that?

It was one hit when I tested it.

Note that it has its share of side effects (part in converting a one-byte cheat to a two-byte cheat and how the bosses are presented - eg. having both bytes set at zero may crash the game going against Rolento, or it could extend the fight indefinitely like going against Sodom). A workaround would be setting it to a small positive value like 0x0001.

Are you sure it works? I tried it on ffight and clones. I always have to hit once, then the second one always wipes out the boss. I just tried it again and I get the same result. Oh well, at least it kills the boss faster =)

In what part of this cheat do I put 0x0001 like you mentiond?

Try the value part. In either case, the cheat should work in theory. In some games, a few hacks are needed in order to get the desired effect (like enabling SDMs in fatfury3 - a ROM hack is needed since the game writes values in some places faster than the cheat engine can overwrite them)
