cheat for Nintendo

Post by kwfine »

Hi, there are quite a lot of cheat stuff released for Arcade games, but so far I don't see there is one for Nintendo.
Could someone help, please?

There's a lot of console related cheats you only have to google to find a stack of them. The best RETRO console cheat code site is http://www.gshi.org/ as it's got a load of codes and an active forum...I post on their forums occasionally too.

The code you have is a Game Genie (GG) code - if you are trying to use the code on an actual NES than you must own a Game Genie cartridge/device. Without a Game Genie device the code is useless to you on an original NES.

If you are using it on an emulator (this is an emulation forum after all!) it must support GG cheat codes.

Hi, Pugsy!
I am using virtualNES, but I have no idea whether it supports GG code or not.
Can you tell me where I can find the cheat code for Double dragon and Super SPy, please?

Thanks
Kitty

Me either, I've never used it. I'd suggest searching the documentation that came with the emulator to see if it makes any mention of cheats or game genie or GG. If it doesn't try another emulator, I am no NES expert so I can't recommend any...sorry.

If gshi don't have any, you could always try.......google, that's what I would use.
