Emulator Cheats

Hi, In the cheaat.7z folder I just noticed there are sub-folders for other consoles like Saturn, but how do I run those? Do I put a cdi/gdi/bin/ISO file in the roms directory and select it in qmc2-sdlmame and it will just run it and the cheats like any other rom?

It depends on the system, not every system has usuable cheats. There are only 357 saturn games with cheat for instance.

You need to have the software list roms/images to use these though. Just load the game via the softwarelist and it will load the cheats if you have cheats enabled.

For saturn games you need the recognised softwarelist chds made from a known good dump...it won't work with any other format of cd image.

Thanks...What does it mean when when qmc2-sdlmame shows an empty software list? Is there a chd for the saturn emulator as well?
