Emulator Cheats

The lack of cheats for this game is sad - it's propably the best Arcadegame EVER...

The thing is, i'm not missing cheats - but features. I've been looking in to 1player with buddy mode - and it does seem possible to accomplish. Maybe even PL vs PL with both having the Royal Rumble abbilty
- Why is this game so abandonded? it kicks all the MK's behinds.

- i mostly use this for 2pl Coop - to keep the computer from blocking (since it ruins the game, and in all other versions than the arcade-ver you can disable it)
- This cheat lets you play Buddy mode by doing the 5xblock code.

- The game shows a pop-up that says Sans Ring - i have no clue what this is. If someone finds out, please tell.

- Mostly added this because the guy who wrote "wwfmania FAQ" asked if you could play with these rules (since the no-block code is 3xBL and buddy mode is 5xBL it is impossible without cheats) - but why would you? blocking really does ruin the game!

By tinkering with the same mem-address i've found features like: Ring-out match, Move names ON, Instant Combo, Hyper speed - i just can't figure out the system... what i did was simply using 11111111 or 222222222 etc.
ATM. i'm trying to figure out what actually does what - maybe i could get some help from some of the cheat GURU's - i'm really a noob at this.

It was actually not that hard... The game only uses the last two bits - if you enable two "codes" it just add's the two numbers

(A lot more refined than mk3's kombat-kodes, in my oppinion)

All i need now is help, from someone who knows the cheat-engine. I've been playing around with the ADD/Subtract-feature - but it just wont work. Underneath is my cheatfile ATM, could somebody change it to some ADD-like cheats?

I converted all of the single-bit codes into Bit Set codes. If you need to disable the codes, make a modified set of these with 'Clear' instead of 'Set' as the perameter. I can't really test these myself, but I'm sure they'll be effective for adding individual options, without compromising other settings.

it works perfectly - theres no need for the "clear"-code since the game tries to reset the digits to zeros at the beginning of each match.

but, can you force the codes to be enabled in pairs? since it only works of both bits are set (it's much like MK3-kombat kodes)

For the record though it's standard not to use set/clear bits unless it's a relative address cheat which this is not. It's better because they stand out more when the mask is not FFFFFFFF when manually editing the cheat file. Basically instead of FFFFFFFF as the mask you'd have the same value you are poking as the mask, if you wanted to clear the bits you'd then just copy the cheat keeping the mask value and change the poke value to 0. T

The effect is identical to the ones posted above, just easier to spot when looking at the cheats in a text editor.

This simply enables undertaker and BamBam's shadows even if theres four players in the ring. Use this with at 200% overclock and it runs like a charm!
