For this one you have to edit it from within the cheat menu in the game.
Set the activation key to whatever your jump button is and change the second half of the code to "ONE SHOT"
to save from having to do this again go into the OPTIONS menu (located in the cheat menu) and set it to AUTO SAVE CHEATS. Sorry - I didn't know the coding to set it up with hex.

are you sure you are using the (WORLD SET 1) game?
I have an old version of WORLD SET 1 - maybe that's why?

Ok it does appear to work, but the "Moon Jump" cheat looks to fairly buggy as you've are poking a byte into a word position. You keep needing to turn the cheat ON and OFF to get past high scenery and you have to jump to activate it.
That works in the same way but as it pokes the other byte too it implements the jump but still it's too buggy (increase the value 08 more and it becomes ultra buggy as the jump height increases).

As for the boss cheats I only tested it part through level 1 when I came across what appeared to be a boss (obviously wasn't). So I guess that should work.
