Hyper Street Fighter 2: The Anniversary Edition

Is it posible to create a cheat to play as akuma? In the home version akuma is playable by highlighting in order some characters, but I have not been able to make it work in the arcade version. Anyway here is the console version trick in case someone can make it work in a cheat:

To play as Akuma select SUPER TURBO then input the following code;

Highlight Ryu for a least 3 seconds,
Highlight T. Hawk for a least 3 seconds,
Highlight Guile for a least 3 seconds,
Highlight Cammy for a least 3 seconds,
Highlight Ryu for a least 3 seconds,
Hold start then quickly press the three punch buttons.

I completely agree with 'mangamuscle' Akume is by far best character in all the game...but the code seems a bit difficult.??ah and it'd be great a infinite live/power bar cheat to practise specials..
