If you have MAME then you can pick Jade using these codes in your cheat.dat file. This is for Player 1 only. I haven't figured out player 2 yet. If someone knows on how to modify player 2 then post it here.

nice cheat for Jade,btw can you make the cheat for Smoke with his smokes to work properly?

hi people erm im kinda new here so sorry if im benig stupid with this but u say you need to ut the cheat things in the cheat data file but i cant find that file............am i being stupid here or am i missing something lol

hi,and welcome to the forum,you need to download the cheat fole from there forum and place it in your mame directory,be sure to check enable cheats in the mame options

mame directory means,where your mame is

put the CHEAT.DAT file in the same place as your MAME.EXE
turn ON cheats in GENERAL OPTIONS.

Where do you run MAME from?
if it's from a shortcut on the desktop, right click the shortcut, then choose "properties" then "find target", put the CHEAT.DAT files there.
Where is that mame file at?

In Windows (2000 at least)
Start > Search > For Files or Folders > In the first box put the word mame and then click on the search now button. That will show you the folder.
Download and unzip the cheats.dat file into that folder.
You will need a program that can unzip files, which, you can get from Snap Files in their Freeware section or Major Geeks. Teddy32 likes ZipGenius for preforming this task in Windows (I would post the URls for those sites, but, I can't - stupid spammers). WinZip is better, but, not freeware; so, I don't use it! Note: XP Pro has this ability without the use of third party software, but, I don't like the way it handles zip files.
You can use Notepad to open the file and alter its contents. Always make a backup copy of the file, calling it something like cheat.bak, before you do any editing so you can go back to it (as the last known good copy) just in case you make a mistake.
Trust me, if I can do this - you can do it too!

what revision are these codes for? I saw 3.1 however when i try them with my 3.1 they dont work (however they do show up in my in game code list) , using mame 0.122u4.

Nice codes...when 'playing as' Jade, it's interesting how many graphic/sprite glitches she originally has, for example in her stance animations she has messy green pixels on her headband, mask and the top edges of her 'swimsuit'....also she seems to have skin-coloured glitch pixels all over the back of her costume (which look suspiciously like rips/shreds), you can see this in most moves which has her back facing you, such as her roundhouse kick (Back + HK), uppercut, or when shes jumping forwards or backwards...

Since Jade was never intended to be human controlled its likely they didn't even bother touching up her sprite after it was recolored. The CPU algorithm would rarely use things humans do.
