I would like get a cheat for always appear Smoke or Jade behind the tree in Living Forest.

I think this new saves states and this other cheat, can help:

Save State 1- Before fight in Living Forest.
Save State 2- Jade appears in Living Forest.
Save State 3- Smoke appears in Living Forest.

I get new save states working very well in MAME32 Plus Plus 0.119 emulator.

It's ready with roms and save states. Only start mk2 (rev. 3.1) and open save state (Shift Right + F7 and 1, 2 or 3).

A few things.....

1. 4shared is no good for me, neither download links work here.

2. I don't download exes from filesharing sites....point me to the proper page hosting the build or use a more recent build.

3. Save states need to be from SAFELY BEFORE they appear if they've appeared or its called the code to make them appear (and they haven't appeared) then the savestates will be no good.

4. Alternatively rather than doing the above, open the debugger and type:-

trace mk2tracefile.txt,0

then press F12 and start the game till the EXACT moment that Smoke or Jade appears and then press the tilde key to open the debugger and type:-

trace off

Then 7z the mk2tracefile.txt up and let me have it - note if you don't 7z it the txt file could be over 10Gb in size and that would be impossible to send. 7zip and it will be under 10 megs most likely.

Well...

I tried get a save states in others emulators how in MAME32 0.90, when you find many mk cheats for me. But, unfortunately when open the save state Smoke and Jade don't appears behind the tree every, because is very random.

Now, using this save states in MAME32 Plus Plus 0.119, Smoke and Jade every appear using this save states in MAME32 Plus Plus 0.119.

If you press any button in Battle Plan before fight, Smoke and Jade don't appers behind the tree.
Smoke and Jade appears in 84 to 83 seconds in first time.

Unfortunately, I haven't very knowledge in debugger. When I find cheats, is using WinHex or random...

Right I've downloaded the save states and MAME32 Plus Plus 0.119 from the links you just provided. Unfortunately it's no good because the MAME32 Plus Plus 0.119 has NO debugger compiled in. So I can not find debugger (program code) cheats without a debugger!!

I don't use MAME32 so I can't suggest a version.

Personally I'd stick with the standard MAME:-

Just copy mk2.zip into the roms folder, and the latest cheat.7z into the mame.exe dir

and open up a commandline and type:-

mame -cheat -debug mk2

or if you don't want to see the debugger just type:-

mame -cheat mk2
