Emulator Cheats

Hi ,

I downloaded the latest cheat file for mameui 142 and put it the mame executable folder. It's still zip( folder with zipper icon) . I have enabled cheats in BOTH properties sections, but the cheats still doesn't work when i hit the tab button to activate... why???

Have you definitely extracted cheat.zip from cheat0142.zip?

If you open the zip file do you see thousands of XML files or just three files (!README_FIRST!!.txt, cheat.txt & cheat.zip). If it's the later make sure you copy the cheat.zip file to your MAME directory.
