Emulator Cheats

bad news, certain cheats in Magician Lord don't work anymore. Can someone fix the cheats, so I don't have to worry about that tentacle monster coming after me?

I'm not having any luck w/ these codes either. Running MAME 0.147 with the 0.149 cheat pack. Could that be the issue?

Thanks (to you both), I think the problem maybe that the sets maglord and maglordh have become swapped over either in MAME or the cheat collection.

If you rename maglordh.xml to maglord.xml then it should hopefully work.

I'll make the change for the next cheat release..

Thx Pugsy! That did the trick. I renamed maglord.xml to maglordh.xml and vice versa. Now I might actually have a chance at beating this game. LOL!

I went thru trial by fire and figured it out easily how to rename both xml files!!! One must download the free 7-zip, extract and use it to zip it up.

Now I can beat Gal Agiese!! LOL!!!!!
