unfortunately there are a small bug due to the code: the first enemys you see have a wrong colors.

and the enemys have only one combo for die. now you can kill these assassins

So the developers must have left all the old sprites and animations and stuff from DD1 in DD2... cool.

I wonder if you can do this at the end of the game to make it seem more "real"? A duplicate of Billy appears and hugs her, and then they both disappear and the "ending" music plays forever, but you can keep fighting on.

Still, very cool. Now Marian's tear is not the end of her... and Revenge has been had!

All those resets, an incredible chaos! This is probably the reason why Pugsy hasn't considered that cheat. In reality, the activation is very easy, follow MY instructions...

This is a wrong romhack. In fact 0F1B must be changed in the correct moment, or a bad thug capture Marion, and if you try to hit that thug the game ***crashes completely***! And so, use the RAM version, or fix this ROM hack, if you can.
PS if you activate the romhack AND you wait too much, and you don't touch the "captured marion", the game crashes after some time! NO WAY

hi! sorry for the necroposting, i think i lost almost all my codes but recently i discovered the cds with my old colecction of cheats! that i think i lost forever...

apart i have one modification of the code (in testing until now) for being used in the end, the pity is that also use these rare system of work:
with reset and state used for works...

i must try again if this can be repaired for some matter... but is really hard until now.

but today in some moments i want post the 2nd part of codes i already traduced to english.
yesterday because the lack of time i forget post the mutant fighter code i promise (sorry ). i promise that can be avaliable today + another code for always have the "super throw".

also i you like that ddragon2 save marian code, i have some more of the same style for other games. since bizarre things like these guns as weapons for the turtles in tmnt, to others really rare, but is a surprise. maybe some of these codes dont give you infinite lives or something usefull, but always are cool to see and very funny codes.


talking about the save marian code...
well the last night i try to make the code works "normal" (without those resets or load states)... but nothing of nothing.

yesterday i test one rare idea i think... these are that maybe i can find one code for make the game always are in the "same state" as the marian code works (so if you punch it the game not must crash) you know, the game are in the "working state" as result for all those tricks of load state and reset, but nothing...

i know this sounds very rare, but believe me i see really bizarre things can be found like that. unfortunate this time dont works.

one thing. i see that i never explain how i find this code...

so there are the answer if someone have the curiosity:

well if i remenber fine, i see that the doors open only when marian is dead, so i try to find that: 01 door is open, 00 door is closed. or opposite form if that not works for find the code.

i think that i found this code by "count" cheat find system, or maybe for "equal/different", but i think i count the two possible positions.

i only think, what happens if billy can reach here in time? , and discover that the enemys are real and not only images.
later i try to do the same in double dragon 1, for see what happens... and i can find the code, but is useless, because in double dragon 1 the enemys of the intro only are images and not real enemys.

well like you see, with only count you can find almost everything!

Thanks Miguelo.It is very difficult for me because cheat finding is a art.
In final round two fat giants appear from wall (like first round boss).I want these fat giants near final boss but not succeed because when they died come final boss place.
If it ispossible for you,please make any cheat these two fat giants near final boss place?

i dont understand exactly what do you want make...
put big enemys in the end, for make the "square - final zone" with the boss, one little more hard?

maybe is more easy (well say "easy" maybe is not correct word ) try to find one code with "two positions", one if the big enemys are in the screen (maybe meanwhile they breaking the wall for appears) and second when dont have big bosses in the screen. but is a little hard i think...

as you know the save marian code only opens the door,

but the second code im testing right now, can put these rare "enemy-holding marian" in some place
(only works in the end or in the start of the level)

but i dont know if appears from nowhere or if replaces one enemy from the screen, i have to test it more.

after all, i think that maybe replaces enemys...
so maybe can replace one normal "no too strong" enemy for these big "more dificult" enemys, by change the "data number" in the code.

but im not sure if the code works in this form or what... (i have to try it)

by the way, did you know this awesome remake of double dragon? is really close to the original 2 first games and have great moves!.

the game is full, but i read that the creator wants to release the final version (0.10) with all works ok before this year 2008 is gone.

i think the game have "change controls" option, but if not you can use the "joytokey" free program, for easy configure for use with a joystick.

you know... real life problems give me away from mame. i dont have enough time for nothing almost always . and apart now, that we cant search new codes due that mame team quits our beloved old cheat engine... .
i hope they back the changes one day or if not that makes compatibility for use old codes and also can search new codes some day.

well, finally a learn how save game videos and also how to up they to youtube. so here you see my two favorite codes working in double dragon 2 and prehistoric isle of my other "colecction of super cheats" post.

other thing, i discover one easy way to make the dd2 marian cheat works.
you are forced to use resets after punch marian-enemy (or save a state before punch her, and load that state several times followed, for crash the game) in order to win a big game crash, do a reset, and that the code works perfect from now.

the trick is obtain that big crash, and BEFORE do that final reset, exactly in that moment, do a save state.
this means that when you load that state, you only need to do one single reset for make the code works directly.

i do a save state for marian cheat with the mame32 v120u1 i use here:

(apart note: can someone use this save state for make a code that we can use for directly make the big crash in the game, that this cheat need?.
i think that people can make codes using save states, but i dont have idea how make that)


now, the surprise...

well, the last year i suffer a big hard drive crash, loosing my updated mame with a lots of roms , even almost i lose all my kegafusion genesis codes! .

that give me the raison for fast post in gshi my compilation of cheats for kegafusion genesis and other games. (you have the links in the 2nd videos comments).

also since some months, i start again in re-make that lost mame. and also i make a old mame32 v120u1 with all my codes.
(apart note: someone knows where i can find mames before 126?, and if this possible also rom sets from that old versions?. because is very hard, and i cant find nothing of nothing outhere. i really apreciated the help)


so well, this old mame give me the chance to search some few dd2 new codes... starting from those that you asked me 2 years ago for place enemies.

as you can see in the videos, i have new codes that allows you to change one enemy for else other, including rare possibilities as change all the enemies for enemy-marian enemies, and see the end every time you kill one of them .

but the more interesting, is the posibility of change one enemy near the end, for those who want to make this game like double dragon1. (see the video)
also you can use it with the final boss (evil billy clone), but then the end music dont plays after kill him, due that the final boss have their own sound programmed (a laugh).

even i do this cheat now with double dragon 1 (this change enemy codes) and nothing sound when you kill enemy-marian...

so this means that, if in double dragon 1 not sounds music when you kill the marian enemy. and in dd2 it have music programmed for final boss laugh, and also for marian-enemy (when that music only sounds during the ending intro)...
...then all this means, that definitivelly this is a exclusive dd2 unused ending. due that even if dd2 uses dd1 base for be maked, dd1 never have music linked with the dead of that marian-enemy, like dd2 have. correct?


more interesting things:

dont ask me how demons i do it , but the other surprise i have for you is that i have codes for select character in dd1, dd2 and dd3. yeah, really!.

at begin my code show joined the sprites of billy lee and the enemy together, in the same place and blinking. but after a hard search, i found a wrong code, that modified in the adress makes that him finally dont blinks... and voila!

also i start thinking that this codes only give you "the skin" of the enemy, but if you select that dd2 giant boss "terminator style", that send you to the ground in a single slap, when you select him, your attack is the same. so you ARE that boss. is not only the skin.

but even if double dragon enemies dont have several moves, and they dont have some animations or cause some glitches (take it easy, none important), as you can imagine, is very funny can play with they.

today i have to continue my long test with double dragon 3... the damn uses 4 codes joined for change every character working , and you have to search a lot for found every new playable enemy that works fine, lost inside several memory/adress positions of that codes .

apart, i have begun my course of cabinetmaker again, and I do not have long time. as always .

so, give me 1 or 2 weeks as much, and i will post all the codes traduced for you all.

Very cool cheats Miguela. You should make a cheat that enables you to kiss Marian whenever you want or a cheat that allows you to punch Marion. Or how about a cheat that allows you to play as Marion.

well, sorry but that could be hard...
cause the select char codes already allows you to play as marian. HOWEVER... she is mixxed with williams, cause in fact her dont have too many sprites. so the char in that data position, is "williams and marian" both together.

in fact, the ddragon1 intro is a lie... one williams go to punch marian, but after do it he simply dissapear. and then the marian sprite, changes to that williams and marian, cause it haves that walking sprite animation.

you can see all this perfectly after try those change enemies codes in the intro, or change your character to "williams & marian" char in the game.

apart, the sprites showed depends of the action you make. so, if you force to keep the char in one action, then he becomes freeze there for sure...

anyway you can play as marian but always with williams. and theres not exist other way.
(i already test every position from 00 to FF and those are all the chars avaliable).

but the kill marian code you want is already maked!. look well... i make there one "force game crash" code, that now makes that you never more needs to do many resets, or use savestates for can save marian on double dragon 2.

this time, using that "force game crash" code, you only must enable it, start a game (then it crash)
and disable that code, and enable the save marian code.

and now it works perfectly. by doing only 1 single reset.


anyway, the best is not only this dd1&2 select char codes...
is also the fact that using this select char searching method (that i explain in the other post) is very possible to try to search select char codes in others old street beat em up games, at the double dragon style.

and with some luck, maybe theres exist other games that let you to choose beetwhen the players chars and also controls the enemies. who knows...
