Please, cheat for Reptile Clues in version 5.0 of mk1.

I am Reptile, Find Me !
You must Find me to beat me
Alone is how to find me
Perfection is the key
Fatality is the key
10,000,000 Points if you destroy me
Look to La Luna (The Moon)
You Cannot Match my Speed
TIP EHT FO MOTTOB (Reverse it)
Blocking will get you Nowhere

I play v5.0 t-unit on mame and never had a Reptile appearance.

Unfortunatly, to get a Reptile clue on the Arcade versions of MK is extremly rare.

Please, get Reptile Clue cheat.

reptile appears once every 6 games (according to the FAQS) so you may be searching for a multiple of 6 for a value.

have you tried to figure out the match count adress ?
Apparently it won't work if the reptile appearance is bound to
the level number in such a manner that you have to modify
the game progress , that is when there is no seperate variable
storing this information , but a condition on wich it depends.

Try toggling the level number.

Unfortunatly i do not have the required privileges for the rom image to get started , so i can't help you much about it except giving some advice.

You have two possibilitys on how this feature could have been programmed.
A : a simple (but cheat unfriendly) if check.
for example :
if( matchcount = 3 or matchcount = 6 ){ goto reptile_intro }

in this case you have no chance , except editing the code.

Possibility B is

if ( matchcount = 3 or matchcount = 6 ) { show_reptile = 1 }

in this case you could have a chance to find a cheat to toggle
show_reptile to always 1.

Yes, and after i played mk1 and mk2 constantly, i make a save state for always appears Reptile Clues in mk1 and Smoke and Jade Clues in mk2

. But unfortunatly i don't get the cheat.
Using this save state state is possible discovery the cheat?

If you post a link to the zipped savestates, for a MAME (state which MAME version) with a fully working cheat engine, I'll take a look...but no promises.

can anyone fix this cheat ,the palette works only on the bottom of the pit and the first background :/ on the other backgrounds it gets buggy...
