The cheat codes inside UniBios

UniBios 2.2 : a suggested DL if you're a cheat addicted.
It has a cheat engine and this engine has some codes actually not included in Pugsy's list!

4 example, boss code 4 svc (hm, added by me! ) but also new codes 4 kof 2001 and 2003. Is there a metod 4 a rapid extraction/conversion?

I love UNIBIOS! Set it as your default neogeo bios!

If you disable the comments then recompile, you will be able to use these bioses. And official source has not define UniBios 2.2. So his information is based on a clone MAME and misleading.

But Kriptokapi notes that this forum is normally for official MAME only.

To grab it, and the site seems very clear, add the .rom file to your neogeo.zip, and specify (in MAME32) UniBios 2.2(Hack) ...
I'm sure http://unibios.free.fr/screenshots.html can help you seeing how make it work, ... and so on, but I was asking how to EXTRACT THESE CHEATS -DIRECTLY- FROM THE BIOS. IS IT POSSIBLE?

Kriptokapi's info is not fundamental solution if you use official MAME only, just like me. It's not always true that everyone uses special MAME supported UniBios.

The UniBIOS is really meant for people with real neogeo machines, the last time I looked at it a while back I couldn't see enough unique cheats in it to be worth the effort of working out how to & converting the cheats. Though to be honest I'd prefer the cheats to be found afresh, though working out how to convert the cheats maybe interesting enough.

First thoughts would be to do a dump of the ROM areas (via the debugger) from the unibios game with no cheats enabled and then again with a single cheat enabled and go from there. ShimaPong is correct if you want the cheats from the unibios you are best asking the person directly responsible for it (Raz) if he's willing to share the cheats in the MAME cheat format or at least supply a list of locations and values then the unique ROM only cheats could be added to the cheat file.

Just looked at the terms of use on the unibios site:-

So that rules that out...sorry.
