Cheats removed from HERE by request

The -------- break in the code should be held for the Select Helmet Cheats since the ones I have aren't stable. Look in the hazemd cheat requests forum to see those cheats.

Also, I'm missing an Infinite Time Cheat.

If any of these can be cleaned up or made better, like 'Infinte Whatever'... That's fine. They are that way in that you'll never get to '0'. They could be higher - but what's the point? As long as you're not losing any.

TIP: Jump to the last boss from the 2nd Stage. Get on the last P square above the flag and hold the Jump and Special/Walk buttons and Down/Right.

^About this. I've gotten this to work before on my own Genesis Cart in the past, but now when I try to do it it freezes up the game. What's even stranger is that it also freezes up in the hazemd emulator... Then after a while - it crashes hazemd back to the command prompt.

Page Up and Page Down will come in very handy for these. I know it's probably a LOT of cheats, but I thought being able to see the stage names for P1 or P2 would be helpful. I ommited some of the Elsewhere levels since I found they may be useless. There are other 'Levels' you can go to that take you to the same place as their (clone?) Elsewhere levels... with the exception of one that takes you to nothing, a black screen; then you have to reset.

I left out Shima Pong's k.c./megatech character select cheat since the ones I made are now stable (color and collision wise) as well as put the right number of hit points in your health meter.

In this case, it's the best that you combine "Link" and "One Shot" for 2nd or later codes.

You no longer need to turn it OFF after start the selected stage to avoid replay the same stage in this code.

Label-selection type code on the new cheat format is revolutinonary function, I think.
Because it makes a lot of codes which are based on the same address into 1 in-game cheat menu.
MAME in-game menu is very simple therefore it lacks flexibility.
Especially, when many items are displayed in the current window, it's hard to find an item you hope, just like mvsc code.

But in case of too many codes, it's better that the cheat engine opens sub-menu and we choose a code in this menu.
I hope label-selection in sub-menu and label-selection with packed codes as new fucntion.

Ok, I fixed the priority in Mercs, sprite masking issue. I opted for a more generic solution so if any games have missing sprites in the next release that might be why.

Sound seems more of a problem, fixing sound in that without breaking sound in other games is tricky. There are one or two others where the sound sometimes doesn't work (Pacman 2 for one IIRC)

g_rthn2e might just be a lazy port, music seems slower in several PAL games because it gets tied to the refresh speed.

I'll check the backup RAM, your list looks good tho, the others probably just use bigger areas, I might add a check to look in the cart header info even if I don't want to use it, just for reference.

There are a couple that have EEPROM instead of just linear mapped BackupRAM, this is harder to emulate so I haven't looked at it yet. (NBA Jam TE, College Slam, Megaman, Blockbuster compilation, Monster World 4 IIRC)


Apparently Phantasy Star 4 still has problems with it's backup ram banking (game crashes later in game) so I need to fix that too.

It was for special campaing of the launch of Raiden Densetsu to get delux present. It was "Teradrive" (IBM PC + Megadrive).

BTW, I found two problems (it may be my PC problem...) in searching a code for this game.

• I feel that PSG volume is still loud... I think the reason is that FM volume is little. What setting is it the best ?
• In-game font color is white. but on my PC, it is near dark gray.
  It seems to be "better" that change default gamma and contrast (1.0) to 1.1.

BTW, I have found other "PAL" problem in HazeMD.
Invincibility for g_cvane doesn't work in several stages, for example in stage 2-2 (stage selection code is 0x13).
The same code for g_cvan and g_vamkil work fine in the same stage though.
