Operation Codename: Koi Koi Shimasho

This forum is for posting M.A.M.E. Work In Progress "Arcade"cheats that are not quite ready for the prime time. If the cheats are buggy or the cheat descriptions are non-standard then please post them here. Help maybe given but there are no guarantees and they will only be added to the cheat file when the cheat file maintainer is happy with them.

Operation Codename: Koi Koi Shimasho

Post by TabihitoGaiden »

Here's some codes to keep you in the game...

...especially when they keep nailing you with endgames worth a huge amount of yaku.

Code: Select all

; [ Koi Koi Shimasho ]
:koikois:00000000:F20B:00000009:FFFFFFFF:Infinite Credits
:koikois:00000000:F395:00000000:FFFFFFFF:Set Opponent's Yaku To 0
:koikois:00000000:F394:00000063:FFFFFFFF:Set Player's Yaku To 99
The first code is the usual, the last two, however, are quite special.

Turn and keep those on, and:

- When defeated, you will not have to continue, almost as if nothing happened.
- When victorious, you will instantly win the match and get both pictures.

So, anyone else up for making codes to this game? Codes such as Get/Always Winning Hand ones would be nice, if anyone could make them...

I made this code sometime after I made the previous codes but didn't put it up because I wanted to do some experimentation, but all I ended up with it was this.

Code: Select all

:koikois:00000000:FB75:00000063:FFFFFFFF:This Match Is Worth 99 Yaku:Disactivate when the yaku are counting down post-match
It really makes a match count. Heh.

There really is no better way to describe it.

This next code is really WIP. Though I may have hit a wall with it since I can't make it go anywhere myself.

Code: Select all

:koikois:00000000:FB46:00000063:FFFFFFFF:Time Variable:Don't know what to do with this
Here's the "Thinking Time" countdown variable, it's not useful for the value it sets, merely the only reason I keep it is for having the variable's location with me.

Heck, it may not even be useful, especially if someone could make a real Infinite Thinking Time cheat.

Even though all you really need to use is MAME's Pause function, though there are times I'd rather not...

I'll see if I can do anything more with it.
