cheat format conversion mame 0.036 [shdancrj] / 0.106[shdancej] / 0.180[shdancerj]

Hello guys, just for fun I've converted some cheats xml->old for Shadow Dancer

:shdancrj:20300000:01DEF0:3147000E:FFFFFFFF:SELECT STAGE ON 1/2
:shdancrj:20300000:01DEF4:42A80012:FFFFFFFF:SELECT STAGE ON 2/2
:shdancrj:20300000:01DEEC:3E3C0003:FFFFFFFF:STAGE 2 START
:shdancrj:20300000:01DEEC:3E3C0007:FFFFFFFF:STAGE 3 START
:shdancrj:20300000:01DEEC:3E3C000B:FFFFFFFF:STAGE 4 START

but using the ancient 0.36 (dos with dosbox) I can't get these working

is because the rom-type code not supported or..?

The cheat format in 0.36 predates the above format, eg:

shdancer:0:FFEB0A:9A:000:Infinite Lives PL1

It did not support ROM cheats.
